Family-Integrated Focus

What’s meant by our “family-integrated focus?”

• Many of our field trips and activities span multiple grades, as well as being available to younger siblings, parents, and grandparents.

• Family members are invited to join us for special celebrations throughout the year such as Grandparent’s Day, our Christmas program, the end-of-year picnic, and more.

• Our monthly Saturday morning Family Events are open to all ages and all families—not just CCA families. And they are always free! Learn more about our Family Events here.

• Throughout the school day, students of different ages have opportunities to learn together—young students learn alongside older ones, and older children practice leadership by helping to guide and assist younger students.

• CCA is committed to transparency regarding curriculum, assignments, and what happens in the classroom each day. We enjoy sharing this information with parents whenever we can.

• CCA regularly shares resources with families to strengthen learning at home. This includes fun, multi-level activities that are designed to involve the entire family, including younger or older siblings.
