Cornerstone Christian Academy takes a Christ-centered, whole-child approach to children’s education, partnering with families to nurture grace-filled relationships and a biblical worldview. We draw from the best of all educational approaches, including outdoor and hands-on experiences, regular field trips, a family-integrated focus, and target-based learning in all subject areas. Throughout each day, we encourage our students to use their spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual gifts for God and His Kingdom—and we seek to model this for our students, as well. Founding board member and veteran teacher Anna More began thinking of starting a school when she and her husband were searching for a Christian preschool for their son. Realizing that there were limited options for affordable, Christ-centered education in the area, Anna shared her desire to create this environment with a long-time friend and mentor, Brookie Moore. Brookie also recognized the need for this type of school, and together, they began the process of forming a board of like-minded individuals, including Noah Brink (author of Jesus Above School) and Lisa Grove. Cornerstone Christian Academy was established in August 2023, and has quickly become a school filled with joy, reflecting the hearts of a board and teachers who love children, believe in Christian education, and desire to serve the Lord and local families with their gifts in these areas.
