About Us
Our Mission
Cornerstone Christian Academy is dedicated to assisting Christian parents in educating the whole child, nurturing grace-filled relationships, and cultivating a biblical worldview.
Our Location
Cornerstone Christian Academy currently meets at Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, 9124 Sappington Rd., in Crestwood (see map below). As we grow, we plan to locate to a different, larger location, while still remaining in the south St. Louis county area.
Our Story
Founding board member and veteran teacher Anna More arrived at the idea of starting a school when she and her husband began searching for a Christian preschool for their son. Realizing that there were limited options for affordable, Christ-centered education in the area, Anna shared her desire to create this environment with a long-time friend and mentor, Brookie Moore. Brookie also recognized the need for this type of school, and together, they began the process of forming a board of like-minded individuals, including Noah Brink (author of Jesus Above School) and Lisa Grove.Â
Established in south St. Louis county in 2023, Cornerstone Christian Academy is founded on a unique educational model that includes a four-day week, target-based learning, affordable tuition, and a thoroughly Christ-centered approach to teaching and learning. CCA opened in August 2023 with a soft start for preschool and kindergarten, and will officially launch for preschool through 4th grade in the fall of 2024.
Our Plan
Following a grand opening for preschool through 4th grade in the 2024-2025 school year, Cornerstone Christian Academy plans to:
add an additional grade level each school year until reaching preschool through 8th grade;
simultaneously begin planning for a high school at which their graduates can attend; and
use Cornerstone Christian Academy as a model for board members Brookie Moore and Noah Brink to guide other school start-ups that put Christ at the center and strive to further His kingdom.
